It's bands like Maycomb that really give new British pop-punk a great reputation. Along with All or Nothing and Wolves at Heart; they're at the top of their game at the moment.

Last year the Wolverhampton based foursome played with a plethora of cracking bands that are breathing new life into the pop-punk scene over in the states such as Man Overboard, Transit, The Wonder Years and Set Your Goals. Their sound is catchy, melodic and solid. Keep an eye on these guys in 2011, they're sure to be making waves within the UK scene and proving we can do it just as good as the Americans.

All Or Nothing @ Salisbury Arts Centre 02.07.10

Fresh from their stint on tour with The Wonder Years and their spots at Slam Dunk, Birmingham's All or Nothing grace us with their presence in the sleepy Wiltshire city of Salisbury. 

Unfortunately, sleepy is what Salisbury stayed - despite All Or Nothing's valiant attempts at rousing the woefully under-capacity crowd with their glittering 9 song set. (I blame promotion - or lack of it) Thankfully the foursome rose above and delivered song after song of fun punk tunes. Showcasing a couple of new songs in the form of Surfy and You Can't Win This as well as mixing in with a few old classics. 

As difficult as it must be to play for a bunch of apathetic kids the showmanship and quality of the set shone and the band rocked it just as if the venue was bursting at the seams. Sadly so many Salisbury people missed out on a fantastic show.

Slam Dunk Special: All Or Nothing

Slam Dunk Festival is fast approaching and there are tonnes of amazing bands playing. Kiki Vs Everything was lucky enough to catch up with one of the homegrown stars of the line up, All or Nothing.
Taking influence from Saves the Day, New Found Glory and NOFX the Birmingham quartet have been spreading their infectious brand of punk rock for six years now. They've played shows with everyone from Cancer Bats to You Me At Six and in locations as far fetched as Russia! This year they round out a UK tour with a spot at the Slam Dunk festivals.
