Coffee Project - Big Trouble in Little Gainesville
It's sacrilege to not share good music, so I just had to tell you about Coffee Project. The duo consist of Jake Crown (Rehasher) and Buddy Schaub (Less Than Jake) and their songs play like a collection of acoustic love songs dedicated to Florida, family and fond memories.
They might not be the first to sing of their love for Gainesville, FL, (and i'm sure they won't be the last) but 'Big Trouble in Little Gainesville' is a joyous celebration of their hometown and is certain to strike a chord for anyone who's had the luck to sweat it out in the college town. 'Virginia' is another cracking brass-tinted acoustic ode to Gainesville appealing to those of us displaced from the homes our hearts belong to.
Their first full length, 'Moved On', is out June 1st 2010 and features a massive 19 tracks. It is currently available for pre-order on Paper & Plastick. Check out a selection of their songs on their Myspace page, especially the wonderful 'Easy Does It'.
